These terms set out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Please read them before opening an account.

This agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and Legal entity (trading as Swift EU). Accounts and cards are provided in partnership with Licensed partner. The agreement covers your account, wallets, cards, payments and savings. By opening an account, you agree to them along with our Privacy Policy.

Opening an account

  • You must be at least 18 and provide accurate, up-to-date information about yourself.
  • We'll verify your identity before you can use some or all features, and we may ask for more information later.
  • Your account is for your own use. Don't let anyone else use it.

Keeping your account safe

  • Keep your password, PIN, two-factor codes and recovery codes private. We will never ask you for them.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication and keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
  • Tell us straight away through support if you think someone else has accessed your account, and freeze your card if it's lost or stolen.

Payments

  • Check the recipient's details before you confirm a payment. We process payments using the details you give us.
  • Payments may be held for review to protect you and to meet our legal obligations. If that happens, you'll see the status in your history.
  • Each account has transfer limits, and payments over your limit won't be sent.

Cards

  • Your card must be activated before use and stays our property.
  • Spending is subject to the limit shown in your dashboard and to your available balance.
  • You can freeze and unfreeze your card at any time from the dashboard.

Fees and rates

Any fee or exchange rate that applies is shown before you confirm the action. Savings and ISA rates are variable, and the current rate is always shown in the app.

Suspension and closure

You can close your account at any time once your balance is zero. We may suspend or close an account if we suspect fraud, misuse or a breach of these terms, or if the law requires it. Where we're allowed to, we'll tell you why.

Liability

We're responsible for running the service with reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or by you not following the security steps above. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law.

Changes and contact

We'll give you notice before material changes take effect. If you don't agree, you can close your account before then. Questions? Email info@swifteu.com.
